- I'm OK with both long and short term plots

- I prefer not to do pwp: ERP is ok, but I would like for it to be secondary to the plot. Otherwise mature and dark content is OK if discussed first. (Obviously, 18+ partners only)
-Please respect Apollo's lore, I am flexible and it's mostly MSQ compliant but there may be a few details/mannerisms that don't fit canon setting (not meta, mostly in relation to music) (obviously if your muse is the WoL that part of his lore can change)
- I don't really ship with Apollo: if you have a compelling idea, I'd love to hear it, but your character would have to be OK with him being married to Valoren. I would love to do platonic ships!
- I prefer multi-para, but I mirror. I also love writing dialogue, so responses may be shorter during conversation
- I'm always down to run content, IC or OOC! (I don't tank, though.)
- It's OK to refer to me as he/him when talking about Apollo just to keep things confusion-free :)
- Please understand that if I choose to end an RP, it's not personal. It's very difficult for me to write if I'm not feeling it, and I don't want to waste anyone's time.

ㅤpersonality:ㅤ ㅤApollo is lovely. Polite, patient, and pleasant on all counts. Perhaps a little on the quiet and awkward side, but that's endearing in its own way. He's also an asshole who loves messing with people and is eternally dedicated to The Bit.• He's quite conflict avoidant. He might poke and prod at people, but if it comes down to an actual fight, he'll lose interest, and doesn't mind if he's seen as a coward because of it.
• His abilities speak for themselves, and he doesn't feel a need to prove himself.
• He's not nosy. He usually doesn't prod unless someone is clearly open to it, and in turn expects people not to question him about his past.
• He has a real issue being callous about others' emotions. Having lived for so long, he sees most people as transient, so he doesn't consider the long-term consequences of his actions on others.
• Deep down, Apollo can be kind and nurturing, which he doesn't see as a contradiction to the rest of his behavior.
• He is very much a city Viera, which may bring him in conflict with those who are more traditional. He doesn't think very highly of the Green Word.
• He is anti-establishment and prefers not to tie himself to any formal institutions or organizations (save for a few notable exceptions).
biography
Born and raised in Golmore as a dutiful Wood Warder, Jóngeir grew up alongside his future mate Yulla. They were inseparable, with Jóngeir frequently visiting her in secret against the laws of the Green Word. This connection only deepened when the pair had a child together, a beautiful baby girl who eventually chose the name Sunna. Tragically, only a few years later, an accident cut Yulla's life terribly short. This loss only pushed Jóngeir to become even closer to his daughter, who went on to start a family of her own.Even this happiness was not to last, however. Sunna was barely half a century old when she was attacked by feral animals from deeper in the jungle, driven out of their natural habitat by a lack of prey. Jóngeir was too late to save her, and she died in his arms, leading to his alienation and eventual abandonment of the Green Word and Golmore altogether.Jóngeir’s wanderings took him all over Etheirys: before the Garlean Empire’s formation, he had few things to bar his way or complicate his travel. As likely the only Viera that most people of the time had ever or would ever see, most people and nations welcomed him with curiosity, if not open arms. It was during his time spent with the Garleans of Ilsabard that he took on the name he goes by now: Apollo, after a figure associated with the sun from an old stage play.Eventually, he settled in Gridania as one of the original Gridanian bards, and found himself caught up in the Autumn War fighting alongside the Eorzean Alliance. Swearing to never involve himself in another such conflict, he ended up in the Republic of Garlemald. What was meant to be a sabbatical spent with old friends became a decade-long downward spiral of drugs, parties, and sex. When Apollo could no longer bear the Empire's ruthless expansionism, he completely disappeared, only emerging several decades later to return to Eorzea and start yet another new life for himself.Currently, Apollo occupies himself as a retainer. As a centuries-old walking history book, he has always maintained close ties with Old Sharlayan, and is a resident along with honorary citizen. Apollo recently married his soulmate Valoren Stormcrow, and can most often be found at his beck and call.

ㅤrelationship: ㅤ Having quite literally fallen into Apollo's life one day, the two have been inseparable ever since. One might be inclined to wonder what the easygoing Apollo sees in flirtatious and crafty Valoren, but below the surface, the two are one and the same. Their connection is easy and absolute, with only one word that can truly describe it: homophrosyne.

ㅤrelationship: ㅤ Apollo's only grandson was quite close to him once, seeing as Apollo was Callahan's Wood Warder mentor. Long after Apollo left the wood, Callahan fathered a daughter himself, who was captured by Garleans. Callahan left Golmore and joined the Dalmascan resistance to get her back. Via an unfortunate but hilarious encounter with Valoren, he has reunited with his long lost grandfather.

ㅤrelationship: ㅤ A perfectly normal seventeen-year-old Apollo met through Valoren and his theatre company, the Obsidian Blades. Throughout various shenanigans, Beetle has become an important fixture in Apollo's life, and also saved him from a deadly disease that one time.

ㅤrelationship: ㅤ Jóngeir's mate and the mother of his daughter. Being the only kits born in their particular cohort, they were close childhood friends and frequently flaunted Jóngeir's Wood Warder exile to see each other. Unfortunately, a tragic accident took Yulla's life when their daughter was only 6 years of age.

ㅤrelationship: ㅤ Jóngeir's daughter. They formed a close relationship after Yulla's death, and continued to see each other despite his exile. They were nigh inseparable, and losing Sunna lead to Jóngeir abandoning the Word and leaving Golmore behind. Her death continues to affect Apollo deeply.
